We all said goodbye to our old friend Tommy Hawkins who was buried in the last few days. Tommy is remembered as one of the original L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers Executive, broadcaster for KNBC, and other media outlets and as the first black athlete in the history of Notre Dame. Most of all he was my friend.

It doesn’t appear as though the Dodgers’ great duo of ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw and star outfielder Yasiel Puig are going to be unstoppable on the way to the World Series. The way this duo is performing now they will drag the rest of their teammates along with them.
